Recycling of Carpet Waste Punching , edge trimming, and waste from transition parts is continuously generated during the production of carpets. This waste material has a considerable volume and weight.
Valuable secondary raw material for carpet production is gained by using PALLMANN's specially developed preparation system. The waste, combined from a broad diversity of PA, EVA, PP, PE, or PVC, is precut on a special knife mill and afterwards agglomerated in the PALLMANN Plast-Agglomerator, type PFV. The result of the agglomeration process is a product that stands out due to its high bulk density and excellent flow ability. Textile fibers are bonded. The recycled material can be precisely metered. The agglomerate can be used as an additive for back coatings as well as in scattering systems.
