The knives of the fast rotating precision rotor grasp the material and reduce it together with the stator knife to the required chip size. A fan coupled with the knife mill provides for the intake of the trimmings, a continuous cooling of the mill and the evacuation of the chips. The length of the final product depends on the speed of the rotor.
